Operation Smash and grab.
Well my friends, we successfully placed posters throughout our old stomping grounds. The local highschool was covered with a bunch of posters to get those young minds working. Working in a more unconventional way that is. The posters were an attempt to get people to question the education system and the other systems which shape them. I think it might go over fairly well. Only time will tell now. If you woudl like to see a copy of the posters or want to put them up near you just leave me a comment and I will get in touch with you. Well, thats all for now. The summer has taken alot out of me as you can tell. I just hope the real world doesn't grind my spirits down as it does far too often with far too many.

mister,
i'm waiting for updates... have u heard if the campaign was a success... i'm hoping that it was... if not whats the next step.
uuummmm... ENCOURAGMENT
So it was a sober Bread and Honey for me this year - can't really remember the last time that happened. Probably because of kids like me, they closed at 9 this year. Nevertheless, I managed to come down to Streetsville, saw a cop at every corner, driving on every street, and video taping me at any opportunity as I stood outside of Canada Trust (was I supposed to rob it???). So I'm on my way to a friend's house walking with some people, and I figure the quickest way would be to cut through good ol' SSS. Let me tell you, through all the madness that was Streetsville that night, amongst all the cops trying to bust a kid who wanted to have a couple beers with his friends, seeing that E squared symbol inked with graffiti brightened up that nite more than any blue and red police lights could. Congratulations.
It's nice to hear that you have started to put up signs and begun working in E squared into Streetsville. I'm a huge believer that you have to give back to the community that raised you - in our case, we're helping the kids think differently. Frankly, I think Streetsville (the school and to some extent the community) has become tainted. Fake gangsters walk about the streets acting like they run the place, real gangsters are just retarded, and (probably the most shocking) Mr. Wowk and Ms. Abela are having a child together! The latter really doesn't affect me, but still, Wowk shouldn't be allowed to breed.. but that is in itself a subject for another blog.
So I'm just writing to say, let's keep up this bombardment of posters and what not. Heck, I got some links to the school, and I'm confident they'd let me give a motivational type of speech there. I built up enough credibility over my four years, and even though some teachers thought of me as a rapping thug, I have enough teachers there that know the opposite. In talking to the students, I could easily slip in the messages we're trying to spread. Personally I think it'd be a perfect opportunity to get our point across. Let's get real, you gotta work from within the system to beat it. So yea, keep up the good work, and we got the summer to plan out how to enact everything, so right from the beginning of the next school year, we can start fresh with a whole new group of students. Let's keep it going.
Hello my friends. Thank you for the encouragment. The posters went up. I am not sure if they went over well or what. Perhaps we could throw them up again. We need ideas for how else to hit the people with some positive messages and make them think. I take it everyone is as busy as I am. Despite the lack of time we shoudl attempt to take a few minutes one night to post or come up wiht something. Talk to you all later. Have agood summer and take care.
